Will Smith has been a vocal fan of Barack Obama and his plan to extend taxes on the welathy, but during a visit to France he was questioned if he would support a 75 percent tax rate exactly what is being suggested by new Socialist President of France.
Business Insider explains, "The Hollywood star enthusiastically preached the book of paying one's equal share of taxes in a French TV interview this weekend."
"But when questioned about his opinion on the tax policy of French president-elect Franois Hollande, Smith's was surprised mad by the suggestion of a 75 percent taxation rate on those earning above 1 million annually," reported BI's Alex Biles.
"I have no issue with Will Smith," Glenn said at the beginning of the video.
Glenn explained that Smith shares the same opinion as many in Hollywood the rich need to pay more in taxes.
During the interview, Smith responds with a "God Bless America" and a giggle upon hearing President-elect Hollande's suggested rate of seventy five %.
"You can see the actual shock of that number," Stu recounted. "( Smith ) isn't a tax expert in Western european economics. It strikes him as stunning as it should strike you."
